The Mariinsky Orchestra and Valery Gergiev return for two performances of Russian orchestral masterpieces. This performance features pianist Denis Matsuev in Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 alongside Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, originally written for piano but performed by the orchestra in an arrangement by Maurice Ravel.
